[Reporter]: In your many years of marketing and planning career, what do you think is the fundamental basis for the development of my country's small and medium-sized enterprises?
[Han Yaoguo]: In the past, people believed that the foundation of the development of small and medium-sized enterprises lies in core technology, and that success will come if they have core technology. But I don’t think so. I think the first is market awareness, the second is core technology, and the third is innovation awareness. These three points are very important. Market awareness is the prerequisite. Products should be developed based on the market, rather than working in isolation. Innovation awareness is an ongoing process, and core technology is not always the core. We must continue to innovate. While mastering core technology, we must also have a strong sense of the market. If we don’t understand the market, what’s the use of having the best technology?
