Three options
Let’s start with Dr. Wang Er. He felt it was time to build a new ophthalmology website. He knew how important this investment would be to the growth of his practice. But he didn’t know which web design route to take.
Template Website
(Minimum Upfront Investment, Minimum Professional Help): Dr. Wang Er could use a "do it yourself" website builder, just like the ads he saw online, to build your medical website with the click of a mouse. This required him to invest the least money, but provided the least material data professional advice, feedback, and professional customization. He basically built the entire website himself. His clinic was doing well, so he thought he should invest more.
Option 2 (largest upfront investment, most professional help): At a party, while drinking Wang Laoji and eating barbecued meat and vegetables, his friend Lao Chen talked about his work: professional, customized website design and website development , search engine optimization . Lao Chen explained that he and his design team can have in-depth and thorough conversations with a variety of clients to help them achieve the functionality and aesthetic that is most conducive to business growth. He explained that a custom website will stand out and establish the best image of professionalism and value to potential customers.
Dr. Wang Er found all this very attractive! He hoped that his professional level and his website would make his clinic stand out. But Lao Chen's estimate of the cost of 30,000 yuan made Dr. Wang Er hesitate.
Maybe he could get the same value for less money?
Option 3 (“Middle Ground”): Being a careful shopper, Dr. Wang Er chose the option that seemed to offer a middle ground: He spent 8,000 yuan on a semi-custom template.
Semi-custom website
At first glance, this seemed like a good compromise! Dr. Wang Er communicated with one of the company’s designers via a brief email survey and then a phone call to get advice on the template to use. The designer assured him that this template was the best fit for medical practices and that “every” doctor he had worked with had used it.
There are very few options to choose from, so Dr. Wang Er suspects this template is often used for various other businesses, such as shoe retailers, restaurants, barber shops, or tour guides... However, the layout does have a lot of photos of himself, his staff, and his office. It does look nice, and his name is printed at the top of the page in the font that the designer strongly suggested.
